Banana healthy hair mask is a home made pre-shampoo treatment which helps in restoring the health and shine of the hair.Banana is one of the fruits which is rich in potassium, vitamins and antioxidants. It helps in strengthening the hair and preventing split ends.

Curry leaves aids in hair growth and preventing graying of hair. It is loaded with iron, which helps in maintaining the elasticity of the hair.

Ingredients:

Banana – 2 Small ripe Banana

Curry leaf juice – 1 Tbsp

Coconut milk – 1 Tbsp

 

Steps:

1. Blend two ripe banana in a blender until it is smooth. Make sure there is no lump in it, as it is quite hard to wash it off.

2. Extract curry leaf juice and sieve it.

3. Extract coconut milk and sieve it.

4. Add curry leaf and coconut milk to the banana smoothie and mix it.

5. Apply it all over hair and leave it for 20- 30 minutes.

6. Rinse with warm water and follow it with mild shampoo and conditioner.

* Make sure you wash your hair completely with warm water before applying shampoo.

* If you have oily hair, you can skip the conditioner.

* For an extra glossy effect add one spoon of honey to this mask.

* You can apply this mask twice a week.
